Excel was little quirky in that it crashed a lot until I made a couple tweaks I read about in the Office Community pages.

However, I’m upgrading to this week simply because the mainstream support of is expiring this fall Oct It was typically easy to install and it allowed me to keep my Office version without any problems. Converting my old jspreadsheets to the format was easy but I strongly recommend saving any Excel sheets in the format xlsm macro enabled because until I did that all my docs would freeze up and Excel just crashed every time I opened a doc.

I gave Word a quick test drive and it seems fine. I really really like the easy of inserting tables. I’ve yet to try Word out on any of my larger docs page novel, for example but I don’t foresee any troubles.
